So technically I wrote this on Tuesday but scheduled it so it would be "official."
I'll be at a gaming convention today through Sunday, so no stitching for me, but I'm hoping to pick it back up on Monday night.
Here's where the block stands now!
Please excuse the parked border threads - I just couldn't be arsed to cut them since everything is already stitched on the border (except the eyelets) and I can just pick up and get moving again pretty easily,
I don't have too much longer left on the over one face and I'm ready to backstitch. I hope I get to start on the backstitching Monday, if not, it'll wait for the weekend.
I'm also excited about having so much WIPocalypse progress!
Great progress! I really like the colours on this one, and you are speeding through that border now!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI've done so many of those little papyrii now that I don't even need to look at the chart :)
That is great progress! Might we see a border finish soon?!
ReplyDeleteI have made 0 progress, but I'm hoping to get to the last corner this weekend, which would give us a corner victory! I've saved all of the beading and Ra's rays at the top for last, and I'm hoping to finish in September!
DeleteExcellent update! Glad it's going so well and I park threads like that sometimes too. I hope you have fun at your convention!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I don't park threads often, but when I do, it's usually on a border. I can't do like some stitchers and keep a lot of parked threads. And backstitch threads are easy to keep track of, at least :)
DeleteThis is looking so great - wonderful progress.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much!
DeleteThis looks great!!! Love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! And the "limited" color palette is both very pretty and so nice to work with.
DeleteYou're getting so close! I hope the convention was fun :)
