For a personal reading challenge, I've decided to read all of the books listed in this 100 Must Read Sci-Fi/Fantasy Novels by Female Authors listed at BookRiot. Of course, it's not comprehensive of everything one must read but I do have a habit of reading more and more women authors, and I really like this list. I've read a few already, but I'm looking forward to the rest, and maybe it will help me put a dent in Mt. TBR (since many of these books are already there).
If I've read the work, I'll strike it out and put when it was read... if I have a review at Goodreads, I'll link that.

There are a number of these authors I have read, but not the book listed, and some of them (like Octavia Butler), who I've read this and other works, and I think the other stuff is better (not that this is bad or anything). But it's a nice list, and I"m setting myself no deadline.
