Belated WIP Wednesday

I actually have a Happy Dance to share - a 10 year old WIP has been completed.  But since it's currently soaking, waiting for a dry and an iron (I want pretty pictures!), I will share this belated #WIPWednesday instead :)

I was waiting for kreiniks (again... this seems to be a theme), and decided to work a bit on Ferret Knot.   I had to frog all of my progress three times, so I started using needles as stitch markers and only stitched 10 rows at a time, triple checked it an moved on, so I would stop making errors, but I got there :)

    1. Thanks! I got the finished piece up. I did want to get a picture of this WIP, I don't think I'll be working on it again before my "end of year review"

  2. The Ferret Knot looks awesome, but I can see how it would be easy to miscount on that one...I'm really curious for your finish as well :)

    1. Thanks! And I have miscounted on this piece more times than I care to admit! I'm sure if I did it all together instead of all of the black first, it might go smoother, but that's OK :)

And I did get that finish up! I'm so proud!

  3. Oooh I can't wait to see your HD!!! Sorry to hear you had a plague of frogs I hope they've moved on somewhere else, and not to my house!

I'm a few weeks behind on my WIPWednesdays.

  4. Thanks! I discovered I mixed up my overdyes (the pattern calls for simple DMC, but you know we couldn't do that!!!) with BoInk. I think if I can get the outline finished, the inner bits will be a cake walk!

And the frog is still hanging around my place - I was working on an RR piece (Kathy's, actually!) And had to tear out the whole border. I was so annoyed. I was hoping to send it tomorrow, but I think I'll have to wait until Monday.
