I'm now waiting for some Ikea goodness (I love their shelving, if not their furniture), and sometime in the next couple of weeks, I'll start to order what I need to make a murphy bed.
This extra bedroom needs to serve as the guest bedroom as well as my craft room/office, and I figured that a murphy bed would help with keeping the space free for my use, but still allow for the weekend guests we periodically entertain. The second weekend in September *always* has houseguests, so that is my deadline (completely reasonable, I think). I really wanted to put in wood floors because it's so much better for practicing yoga.
Oh, and that window is full east, so the light can be overwhelming to the phone in the morning.

|on Thursday night... past the point of no return!|

|The floors in on Saturday! This is before I did the shoe-molding around the trim.|
So far I've started organizing the closet and getting my stitching/sewing all put together in there. I am hoping to steal the Twisted Stitcher's scheme for organizing specialty fibres (though I don't have nearly that many to organize!) and using one of those hanging racks for my quilting/sewing fabric.
To be honest, I think I like having stuff because I like organizing stuff more than anything. Just about the time I get settled I change everything!
